Pastries: Royal Icing Cookies

Summary
Participants will learn how to make assorted custom decorated Easter-themed royal icing sugar cookies by preparing a creaming method sugar cookie dough and royal icing, and how to decoratively finish their baked cookies! Participants will also learn how to properly set-up and sanitize their workstations and use a digital food scale for prepping their formulas. Please be prepared for a fully immersive, hands on & action-packed day of baking fun!
Requirements
Participants are required to bring a hat, preferably a hair net, to wear
while in the kitchen that will restrain hair away from your shoulders. Optional
materials include an apron, and containers to take home your baked goods.
Participants are welcome to take a break with their own food, snacks, and
drinks.
