Notary Public (Online Class)
Price: $95.00
Summary
A notary public is a public officer appointed by the state
to serve as an impartial witness to document signings, verifying identities,
administering oaths, and ensuring document integrity, preventing fraud.
Class will be online on the following evenings:
Tuesday, March 3 - 6:00p-10:00p
Wednesday, March 4 -
6:00p-10:00p
Requirements
- 18 years or older, or legally emancipated as defined in
Article 35 of Chapter 7B of the General Statutes
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- NC Resident or nonresident with a regular place of work in NC
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Keep the most recent Notary manual approved by the Secretary of State
- No felony conviction in 10 years
If your employer is to be billed, complete both the Student Sponsorship Form and Continuing Education registration form and submit both forms to jccceregistrar@johnstoncc.edu.
